Convening Toward Liberation was founded in January 2023 by Katie Battis-Troyer and Ryan Kroening, event leaders whose successful past collaborations inspired them to combine their energies to amplify their shared purpose. Our brand brings together two established entities — Claim Our Space and Events by Lady K — to continue our rich history of creating inclusive events and gathering spaces for a variety of individuals and organizations.
